Panda Free Active Scan - Ad-Aware - Computer Help
Scan your computer, even if you have a Virus Checker you may just want to run this Active Scan to find some surprises. I was using Symantec's Virus Checker with great results, I thought. Ran the Panda Scan and found bad stuff lurking on my computer.
It scans, disinfects and eliminates viruses from all parts of your system, hard disks, compressed files and all your e-mail, It incorporates a powerful heuristic system capable of detecting new or unknown viruses. If you choose to purchase Panda it is updated at least once a day, so each scan will be able to detect even the latest viruses, so do this often if Panda finds bad stuff first time through or download it..
Now there's nothing wrong with Symantec's products.IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A VIRUS CHECKER DON'T REPLACE IT. There all pretty good just use the above instruction occasionally to check to see if all the viruses on your computer have been found.
Most likely it was user error. But I thank the day I ran this Active Scan by Panda and now have downloaded and use Panda's Product... I recommend Panda Platinum 7 which is both a firewall AND virus checker. The firewall is excellent (tried Zone Alarm before, it was good, IMOH Panda is better)
