This is the start of the race on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Even though the track was slick with rain, it is amazing how fast these cars can go around the race track. Pictured on the left is the fabled Audi R8 with a BMW prototype behind it and various other cars approaching turn 5. If you look closely, you'll see the red Panoz prototype car that has turned this LeMans race on its collective ear about the fifth car back.
