"Valk Jack Adapter"

Built by: Ross Spoonland

I constructed this floor jack adapter to make the cleaning and servicing of my Valkyrie Tourer an easier task. I purchased a 2 1/4 ton jack from Sam's Club for about $60 and the iron from my local JD Implement dealer for less than $20.

Materials Used

1 1/4" x 1/8" square tubing with these cuts

(2) 20" main stringers, (1) 11" crossbar, (1) 4 3/8" right side riser, (1) 4 1/4" left side riser, (1) 3 1/2" front spacer

1 1/4" x 1/4" flat with these cuts

(1) 2 3/4" top right riser, (2) 5/8" top right riser, (2) 1" right side clamp

6" x 3/8" plate with this cut

(1) 6" bottom lift plate

1 3/16" shaft with this cut

(1) 1 5/8" stub shaft to fit into jack receiver

3" x 2 1/4" 1/2" square u-clamp

cut one of the threaded ends off to make a 90 degree clamp to hold the adapter to the engine using the cast hole

I made all cuts with a power hack saw, punched a hole in the lift plate for the 1 3/16" stub with a torch and welded it all up with an arc welder.
