So.Cal. Valks Ride To Kernville

Ride Report&

Pictures

Another fun ride this weekend.

A Great group meet up Saturday morning for a fun ride in the country. 12 bikes, one Corvette and  15 people made it to Kernville for lunch. It was very cold but we all seemed to brave it ok. I think some people are going to invest in some heated liners. I know I sure did like mine.

We made a brief stop at the Tehachapi Loop to check out the trains going around. Upon leaving I backed into the soft dirt hill and filled up my exhaust pipes with dirt. Joe got a big laugh out of that. He said at one point they were 3/4 full. I finally stopped and brushed them out.

Our turn to Kernville was a nice country road and I only made one mistake and we all had to do a uturn. We lost Gregg and his wife and they never caught back up with us. I'm sorry if there was some miscommunication somewhere. This is one time I wish they had a CB radio to let us know what was going on.

Lunch at the Pizza Barn was good and Donna won the 50 dollar pot for the 50/50. BigMac2 and his wife Judy meet us there in his new Corvette. And can you believe it he wouldn't let's us take turns driving it. He knows us too well I think.

We all left and made our way home. We took 178 out through Walker pass to the 14 and 395. Wayne and I split off and I spent the nite with him and Teri and rode home Sunday morning. Mike, Larry and Jenny camped out on the way home. I know it had to be cold.

Thanks for a great ride you guys and I'll see you on the next one.
