Barcelona
Sunday is for sightseeing and we all do our own thing. Rob and Daryl go first to
Sagrada Familia, a cathedral started in 1882 which might be finished in 3000 and
is a showplace for the architect Gaudi.
Shopping on La Rambla and at the market.
The following are pics around the city and in the harbor area.
These are shots of Sagrada Familia, which is "fantastic" in the true sense of
the word. Daryl was here 40 years ago and sees some changes but this is
certainly a long term project.
Petra hates fish, but she made reservations at a seafood restaurant in the port
area, because it was recommended.
We all, except Petra, enjoyed the fish, and she had something non-fishy.
