Andermatt to Lake Como

Franz and Herbert had to head back to Vienna because of Franz' business, so Michael and Petra and Rob and Daryl continued on to Milan.

The Wings took the Gotthardt Pass and headed toward Milan with a stop at the outlet mall near the Swiss-Italian border. Petra had 1 1/2 hours to do as much damage as possibel.

Since Petra had never been to Lake Como, one of Rob and Daryl's favorite spots in the world, we decided to stop overnight instead of heading directly to Milan. We ended up spending 2 nights right on the waterfront.

 
The hotel had a pool and spa and our rooms had terraces overlooking the Lake.

We ate both nights at the same great waterfront restaurant.

Met a couple from Charlotte, NC who had been at Le Mans because he worked for ESPN. We had cappuccino with a smile and desserts with fans.
