But we had an appointment in Milan, so we braved the traffic on the narrow
streets and headed south.
After weeks in small towns, Milan's traffic provided a real culture shock. We
stayed only long enough to see the original Leonardo da Vinci fresco of the Last
Supper then we got out of town as fast as we could, heading for the Dolomites.
Back to the narrow roads and twisties.
Another passo (Italian for pass) for the collection, then the weather changed
and we ducked into a small guest house.
The husband provided dinner and breakfast.
It was a good thing they had a garage, because it hailed, then we had thunder
and lightning.
