Let's Ride to Utah!
This is going to be a one great ride folks. We're going to Utah to visit some beautiful parks and do some wonderful riding.
Ok guys and gals here's the plan.
We will meet at the Chevron Station at the 15fwy and 138 hwy at 7:30 on Friday the 17th with kickstands up at 8:00.
From there we'll head up toward Vegas with a short stop in Baker for gas. We will stop for lunch and gas at the Iron Skillet in North Las Vegas for how ever long it takes.
Then we head up the 15fwy to Hurricane Utah. Hurricane will be our home base for 2 nites of clear air and beautiful country.
(Sorry we couldn't find a place in Springdale. They were all full.)
We have made arrangement to stay at the Rodeway Inn. 15 rooms have been set aside for us. They are going to keep us all together so it will be great to socialize. Do not call the Rodeway Inn for your rooms. All the room reservations have been made in my name and they won't take your reservation. (They might but you might not be with the group) The room rate is $69.95 per room per nite and all rooms have 2 queen beds. I need to know by October 12 who's going or the unused rooms will be released back to the motel. I know some of us can share a room so try to hook up with someone if you can. Be sure to let me know. The first 15 people to sign up will have a room. Also if you signed up and need to cancel be sure to let me know also. I know this is a little complicated but that was the only way the Inn would do it for me.
Saturday we will be taking a nice 150 to 200 mile ride thru Zion and other roads with plenty of time to see the sites. We plan on riding thru Cedar Breaks as well. Lunch will be at the Buffalo Grill on hwy 9. There will be a $12.00 fee per person to get into Zion.
