Cleveland

On the first night in Cleveland, Daryl wanted to go to Lola for dinner. It is one of the restaurants owned and operated by Michael Symon, who became one of the Iron Chefs America on the Food Network. He likes pork and it turned up in all sorts of disguises.  So after Marilyn had spent some time watching the filming and taking photos, Doug and Marilyn went along for the meal, although Doug is still talking about the Key Lime Pie that had no possible relation to the Key Lime Pie he was used to. The next day, Rob and Daryl went to another car museum, the Crawford Auto Aviation Museum, and spent most of the morning there. Doug and Marilyn walked around, aiming for teh Science Center but deciding not to go in after they saw busloads of kids going in before them. At 2pm, we all met at Lolly the Trolley (one of the hardest places to find in Cleveland, even with GPS or in Doug and Marilyn's case, a local taxi driver.) We took a 2 hour tour of Cleveland in a streetcar with a driver who had some nugget of information to share every 2 minutes. On the second night, we went back to Fourth Street and tried Cleveland's version of an "Irish pub."
