Vettes on the Rockies
Durango
On to Durango where we spent July 17th and 18th.
The Strater Hotel was beautiful and the Ole Hotel was full of antiques and stories. We walked the town and finally decided on a place for dinner.
On Sunday morning Darlene and Chris went ziplining and had a wonderful time. They played George of the Jungle zipping through the trees. They even saw a bear after lunch.
The rest of us took the train to Silverton and the air was clean and cool. We enjoyed the sights along the way and the town was quaint. We took the bus back on the Million Dollar Highway where most of us slept.
Dinner was late and all had tales to tell of their adventures.
