Vettes on the Rockies
Taos
We left at 8:30am heading to Taos. Ron & Darlene Rich and Jim & Chris Estoch stayed at the "earthships" while the rest stayed at the La Fonda Hotel in Taos.
The La Fonda is a beautiful Hotel in the heart of the Taos Plaza. Many shops to wander through.
Ron & Darlene Rich were not happy about the "Earthships" but managed to grin and bear it for two nights. Chris Estoch was in heaven and enjoyed the stay very much. The Earthships are very "down to earth" living. Solar is the only way and it takes a special person to want to stay there. The rest of the group went for a visit and while it was different and unique no one wanted to stay the night.
