My '01 Valkyrie has absolutely no comparison. As far as comfort and performance goes, it seems to be the best out there. Its unfair that it doesn't get a lot of coverage, but it is (in my opinion) revolutionary. Its my first motorcycle in 13 years. 125cc to 1520cc yet it handles better than my "joy riding" MC. Really, the ONLY thing that would make the Valkyrie better is to bump it up to 1800cc (at least) and a slight change in bodywork. I'm a bit partial to the T4 concept Valkyrie myself. Make THAT bike, and I'm buying it!

Comments

Best bike I ever owned. I want a 1800 to 2000cc Tourer with EFI. NOW

Comments

My letter to Santa: 1) 1800cc 2) Multi-Port fuel injection 3) 6 speed transmission 4) self-canceling turn signals 5) air adjustable front and rear suspension. 6) Pre-load and rebound dampening on rear suspension

Comments

gas gauge !!!!

Comments

Love my Valk. Have you noticed, a lot of us have "Valk" in our handles? *Keep the Valkyrie alive.* 65K on my '99. The best bike I've owned, period! Don't change it too much. I will decide when to cancel my turn signals. Better headlight. A center stand, even as an option, is needed. You are going to have to build one heck of a bike to get me off his one.

Comments

I did a lot of research, reading etc and came up with a Tourer every time as the best for what I wanted to do. Found a new '98 Tourer at a dealership, bought it over the phone in late September, have put 2700kms on it since (100 of them yesterday), rode it in all kinds of weather and I have not been disappointed. Only complaint - get mouthfuls of road spray and bugs etc 'cause I can't stop grinning while I'm riding. As for a new one, maybe an 1800 engine. The 1520 doesn't quite stretch my face all the way 'round the back of my head.... and please continue the Tourer and Interstate.

Comments

My Valkyrie Tourer is the greatest bike I have owned so far. I would like to see (Tourer Model), a bigger gas tank, Fuel Injection, and the return of a Tourer Model (haven't seen one, in the Honda line up since the Interstate came out). I tour a lot and I love the convertibility of the Tourer. At home I can strip the bags and cruise. The Interstate, while a very nice machine, just doesn't fit my style of riding. Now if could remove the truck.....Hmmmmmmmmm!

Comments

The Valkyrie is by far the best bike I've owned. I was a sportbike kinda guy until I rode a Valkyrie. Love the power, handling, and comfort. Would like a new Valkyrie to have a bigger, fuel injected motor, aluminum frame, single sided swingarm (loved my VFR750), fuel gauge, and improved adjustable front AND rear suspension. Dual trip meters and better instrument lighting wouldn't be a bad thing either.

Comments

best bike I've owned and ridden.

Comments

New lighter frame. Need not be 1800cc. LARGER GAS TANK on standard. Handling should be number one issue along with power. Keep making the Valk!

Comments

I've ridden bikes since high school. Always had a friend that would let me borrow one. I shopped all the bikes out there and settled on the Valkyrie because it is a stand alone bike. The first time I rode the Valkyrie was when I rode it away from the dealer. Have not looked back. Mine is a 98 Standard and I love it. 1800 would be great. Also the self-canceling turn signals with 4-ways, white wall tires and a gas gauge. Next time, if it is back in production, I would buy the Tourer. Valkyrie - There ain't nuthin' like it.

Comments

Before I purchased my Valkyrie I went to the BMW Store and looked at there bikes. I really liked the KT1200. I also went down to look at the Indian but I really didn't wanna buy a Wanna be Harley. I then went to look at the New Gold Wing and I liked it a lot but didn't like all the plastic covering the engine. I did like everything else about the bike but after thinking about it I said to the Honda Salesman "I'm going to go and buy the BMW I like it more than the Gold Wing. Then the guy asked me if I ever saw the Valkyrie. I told him no and asked him who makes it. He told me Honda and said it's a really nice bike. So I said it wouldn't hurt to look at it so let's take a look. Once I saw the bike (Valkyrie Interstate) I told him I love the style and asked if I could ride it. He told me No they don't permit riding bikes at this store. I then told him "thanks but I'm going to go and buy that BMW today". He said "you are going to buy it today". I said "Yup".. He offered me the keys and I took her around the block and I mean around the block. I went back into the salesman and told him "I don't care what you want for this motorcycle. It's going home with me"! I was sold on the Valkyrie right away. If they come out with a new 1800 Valkyrie I will be the first one my block with a new 1800 Valkyrie Interstate. If I lost or someone stole my Valkyrie I would not buy a VTX for one Dollar. I don't like it and would not was my money. If I won a VTX I still would not want it. I want a long hauling Motorcycle. Something that I can depend on when I'm on the road putting in them long hours in the saddle. I know just by looking, reading & talking to people that have VTX's it's not the bike for me.

Comments

I love my "99" standard Valkyrie. More power and more comfort than any other bike I have owned. Especially since I like to tour. I would love to see at least an 1800fi. Especially if the time is right in 2-3 years I will be able to purchase one. Not ready for the Gold Wing yet.

Comments

I WOULD LIKE A VALKYRIE THAT HANDLES AND ACCELERATES LIKE THE 1800 GOLDWING. THE STOCK SUSPENSION LEAVES MUCH TO BE DESIRED. I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT CROTCH ROCKET HANDLING, JUST A MORE NIMBLE FEEL LIKE THE GL1800 AND FORKS AND SHOCKS THAT DO WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO DO.

Comments

I LOVE MY 2000 VALK. INTERSTATE !! IF A 1800cc COMES OUT I WILL HAVE 2 BIKES BOTH OF THEM HONDAS.

Comments

I ride a 99 tourer and I would first like to see this model brought back. Second I want whitewall tires for my black tourer, third either a fair price put on the add on parts or better quality, chrome is cheaply done, hardbags, trunks and fairing are all cheap in everything except their cost from Honda. Fourth, overdrive, a sixth gear would give the on the road gas mileage.

Comments

1800 would be good

Comments

I've been riding since I was 12 years old, my first road bike was a 1966 Honda CB160. I've owned 10 different cycles, every single one was a Honda. Loved them all. Love my Valk the most. I can't foresee any reason why I would sell her, I'll only add another to keep her company. I would buy a new one, 1800, fuel injected, six speed, NO ABS!!!!, gear indicator, oil pressure gauge, engine temp gauge, auto blinker shutoff, emergency flashers, more accessory plugs.

Comments

my 2000 interstate is a wonderful bike but I cant believe such a nice bike at that price doesn't come with self-canceling turn signals. Was very concerned that there was no new interstate model this year. I feel that this the the more logical evolution of my GL 1100.

Comments

The new Valkyrie should have a fuel injected 1800cc motor while maintaining the general look of the current models (available as a standard, tourer and Interstate). A choice of solid paint colors (especially Honda red with nice pinstripes) would be nice (do away with the illusion colors). I would like to see the standard geared for a mid 11 second quarter mile (at least capable of taking a V-Rod) with a top speed in the range of 130+ mph.

Comments

I have a 2000 Valkyrie standard, with Honda w/s & hard bags! Best dam motorcycle I have owned!! This is the first motorcycle I have enjoyed this much. Don't want to put it up for the winter!!! I would like to see Honda keep this Valkyrie as it is with the exception of maybe 1800cc, fuel injection and drop the solid lifters!!!

Comments

love the Valk . Don't even think about stopping production. 1800 would be nice.

Comments

KEEP THE VALK. FUEL INJECTION IS NEEDED.

Comments

lighter and faster. first concept Valkyrie (yellow) I'd buy in a heartbeat. bigger motor better frame like new wing.

Comments

Currently have 98 Standard and 2000 Interstate. The Std needs more fuel, and both could use another gear. In a new Valk I would like more fuel, lighter more rigid frame, Single swing arm for easier tire changes, real gauges and a 6 speed transmission, and of course a larger more powerful engine. Possibly 2000 CC or so. The three levels should be about right. Standard, Tour, and Interstate. Would like a little better parts availability without having to wait for months on backorders.

Comments

The Valkyrie is a great bike! The following comments pertain to the Valkyrie Interstate. I would like to see a more comfortable seat. OEM tires should get better mileage. I would like to see the fuel injected 1800cc motor like the Gold Wing. Better standard wind protection. Six speed overdrive transmission. Handlebars need to be moved more toward the driver. Passenger needs to have better armrests and adjustable floorboards. The bike needs a louder horn and a factory centerstand. Please keep making this bike! If you do there is no doubt I will purchase another one in a couple of years because it is the best bike I have ever owned.

Comments

VRCC #12470 98valkyrie@home.com 1998 Honda Valkyrie Tourer Black / Green I would like to see Valkyrie continue. I want bigger engine, option electric cruise control hondaline, more gears and overdrive gear, bigger fuel tank that can last 200+ miles, EFI, Self canceling turn signals, windshield adjustable, hide damn horn, better seat position, & better lights for tach/speedometer or fancy digital lighted reading. I would not own any motorcycles. " Valkyrie is the Rulez! " Lamonster: see if you can add email, VRCC #, year-make-model-type, & color.

Comments

Valkyrie Interstate 1800 cc

Comments

I have ridden since 1968 and I have ridden Harleys for years always kept a Honda for the long rides so in 1998 I just decided to purchase a new Honda Valkyrie standard It is the best most reliable motorcycle I have ever ridden thanks for listening Jack Moore VRCC-#-1272

Comments

Best bike I ever owned. Traded in a Shadow ACE for it, which I dearly loved. This bike is better by far. I would like to see the 1800 cc engine in a new Valk. I would also like to see more accessories for it. I buy aftermarket because they are available and cheaper in price. My dealer would see more of me if this was the case. Also would like to see the new Valk in some hot solid colors like bright red. At the present time I would not buy a new Wing.

Comments

I absolutely love my 98 Tourer. Other than the noisy, fast wearing Dunlop tires, I have no complaints. I would like to see the trend continue, that is, give me an 1800cc EFI Wing motor, but with more power for the Valk. I would also like to have adjustable clutch and brake handles.

Comments

I REALLY like the 99 Valkyrie Interstate I have. I don't see a great need to change a lot but a little less RPM in high gear would be nice. Also it would be a real shame to to see this great cruiser discontinued

Comments

Love my 98 Tourer. Probably would keep it as a second bike if I could get an 1800 Valk. Bought my first Honda in 1965 and have an 86 GL1200I in the garage next to the Valkyrie...and find the time to ride both.

Comments

Love the Valkyrie. Would definitely like to see a Valkyrie with 1800cc. That is about the only way you could get me to trade the Valk.

Comments

Keep the valky in production. Would like to see a 6 cyl. 2500 cc Fuel injected engine, 6 speed synchromesh transmission, shaft drive with gearing to achieve 70 MPH cruise at 2000 rpm. Seat height 28 inches. Not a naked bike with the frame showing. A mild mannered cruiser, with 200 horsepower, and an attitude to match.

Comments

I would like to see fully adjustable suspension, Fuel Injection, Six speed Transmission, A functional CD player option for the Interstate, Reduce weight by at least 50lbs, Increase range by at least 50 miles.

Comments

We need a 1800cc, or more, high performance Valkyrie for 2003.

Comments

Love my 98 Valkyrie Tourer. Would like to see Honda come out with an 1800 Valkyrie soon.

Comments

I love my Valkyrie I/S. Needs a 6th gear and a reverse. Illuminate the controls for the radio and CB. Brighten or add more lights in the back. Never too many lights in the back. I would like to see the Valk in production. What will I buy when I want a new bike. I don't care for the looks of a Gold Wing (Sorry). I want a motorcycle that looks like a true motorcycle should look like, not some futureristic piece of plastic. I want the chrome and metal. I want people to take that second look at my bike and say wow that's an awesome bike

Comments

Current Valk is very good and I would like to see it continued and improved. Fuel injection coupled with displacement increase would be great. Make it loose some weight with a new frame and increase the rear tire width (thing spins the stock tire easily as it is). Lets see, pumped up fuel injected engine pushing a lighter bike with better rubber, what more could you ask for... accessories to suit the new creation that come out on time in adequate quantities.

Comments

I think the current Valkyrie is one of the best all around bikes built today. The only new model Valkyrie I would be interested in is if Honda added 2 cyl. and made the displacement at 2000 cc's. (everybody can dream).

Comments

Have had my '97 Valk Tourer since Jun/97 Would like to see the following on next generation Valkyrie: Performance: Class leading power - fuel injected engine in the 120HP/120ftlb (or more) class, 180 miles before going on reserve. Refinement: self canceling turn signals, louder horn, chrome wheel option, engine guards designed to accommodate hi-way pegs, Interstate-type lower fork guards that better deflect road grit from the timing cover and radiator, key-type helmet lock, chrome water pump cover, chrome engine hangars, chrome muffler bracket, chrome license plate bracket, low fuel light, instruments that are readable at sunset (may require instrument light dimmer).

Comments

Ditto what Mosa had to say

Comments

I'm generally pleased with my 2000 Valkyrie Tourer with the exception of three areas. 1. I don't like the loud whirring noise that comes from the engine or transmission when I'm in 5th gear between 45 and 55 MPH. The dealer says this is "normal" with Valkyries. 2. I installed an aftermarket heel/toe shifter which I don't like. There is too much play which causes me to miss gears unless I am real careful. If anyone can provide me with a supplier of a heel/toe shifter that doesn't have this problem, I would greatly appreciate it. 3. The stock pipes are not load enough. I'm not interested in having a loud obnoxious set of pipes but if the stock pipes were a little louder, I think it would add a safety factor because other vehicles would more easily hear the louder sound. I've had two close calls when vehicles began changing into my lane. I'm sure this would not have occurred if the pipes were louder. I'm also not interested in spending $600+ for louder pipes.

Comments

I love my 97 Emerald & Cream Tourer. It is by far the best overall 2 wheeled vehicle I have ever owned. There is nothing else on the market that even compares. Power, Torque, Handling, Balance, Brakes, Ride are all excellent. A very well thought out motorcycle. Complaints (nothing is perfect). Rear brake feel is pretty dead. It's hard to tell how close you are to locking it because of lack of feel. Could use more lighting (stop & turn) in the rear. I realize this is not a "Crotch Rocket" however, I think steering geometry could be better for windy, back mountain roads without sacrificing any other traits (as in Two Bros. Triple Clamp Modification). Suggestions or changes I would make for the Valkyrie to be an even better machine: Water Temp and Oil Pressure Gauge. Slightly Larger overall size and easier to read (larger numbers) Speedo & Tach. Add another 1/2~1 gal of fuel capacity. Add a gear or space the gears out a bit more to take advantage of all that power when cruising long distances and improve fuel mileage. Overall, these are relatively minor changes that I think most Valkyrie owners/potential buyers would like to see. I must admit, the only thing that would pry my hands off of my present Valkyrie would be the 1,800cc Fuel Injected power plant. But I would hope that if Honda decides to put that into a Valkyrie it would be tuned/built with a bit more jap than the Gold Wing version.

Comments

Current is a great bike. Tire wear major concern as is engine heat in hot weather. Would like to see 1800 motor in new bike along with fuel injection and easier way to change rear tires. With 99 Tourer is a major hassle. High style exhaust system with better rear shocks would also be nice... Let Gold Wing do touring thing and make Valk a custom fast, reliable, and neat cruiser that is not a V-Twin clone....

Comments

The Valkyrie is one terrific motorcycle, it only needs an extra pair of cylinders (yes, yes, make it a Flat 8!!), app. 50bhp more, an overdrive (6th gear), better frame, suspension and lights and please keep the weight and the looks the same!! Thanks Honda for ever producing such a great and beautiful bike, but don't think this is it. It can get a lot better...

Comments

I have a 99 Std. Possibly the best motorcycle I will ever own. I think of it as a 2 wheeled Honda automobile, convertible of course! Not perfect, but pretty close. It needs self-canceling turn signals. It could use a lower cruising gear to cut the rpm's on the highway. A collector on the exhaust to allow you to easily change mufflers would be nice. A wider selection of color options and brighter lighting and it needs to be lighter or not so clumsy at slow speeds. Oh yeah, I'd like to see Honda make a Valkyrie out of the 1800 Gold Wing.

Comments

I love the Valk & my wife is jealous. I have a 2001 I/S and it's perfect! Things to improve could include fuel Injection, cruise control and an 1800 cc engine. Don't change the style or the ride.

Comments

I like the Valkyrie. I will never be old enough to buy a Cadillac, a Lincolh or a Gold Wing.

Comments

The current Valk is great. Would like to see a sixth gear, self-canceling turn signals, a fuel gauge on the Standard and a better horn.

Comments

I ride a 2000 Interstate.. put 15,ooo miles on this year...I would like to see the 1800cc fuel injected with a 6th gear. Automatic shut off for turn signals. Electronic cruise control.

Comments

1800cc fuel injection maintain style but consider concept bike designs

Comments

Give up. You can't build a better bike! The only thing you could do is put a 1800cc into a Valkyrie, with out changing the style.

Comments

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE FORWARD CONTROLS FOR A VALKYRIE. LARGER FUEL TANK, WITH GAUGE. I'VE RODE HARLEYS MORE THAN ANY OTHER BIKE. LOVE MY VALK. LIKE TO SEE MORE HONDALINE ACCESSORIES FOR THIS MACHINE.

Comments

The only thing I would like to see is Honda putting out more chrome pieces. Yes, Honda has some nice parts but we all know they are many, many more pieces out there that we buy from other vendors. It would be nice to be able to order a bike from Honda with chromed forks, wheels, etc. already on it when the bike is delivered instead of having to take a bike apart, ship the parts off and have down time waiting for them to come back.

Comments

Love my 2000 Interstate, best and most enjoyable bike I've ever owned. I would like to see fuel injection and the 1800cc engine would be a nice addition.

Comments

Comments

I have the Valkyrie Interstate... The best I have ever been on..

Comments

I currently ride a1997 tourer and the bike meets and excides all my expectations the bike doesn't pretend to be something it's not, it's fast and handles great and looks great too it's a shame that they don't do the tourer anymore but at least i have mine

Comments

The Valkyrie is one of Honda's best heavy cruiser's so why not market the bike the way it's ridden ? Instead of the power slides show a couple motoring through town or the country side ! even better just park one on the side of the street and let the bike sell it's self! they draw a crowd.

Comments

Engine size is fine as is. Fuel injectors would be good addition. Would like to see the next Valk with less plastic and more attractive wheels and exhaust pipes. A louder horn and brighter lights are a must for safety reasons. I currently have 3 Honda motorcycles in my garage.

Comments

Espero que al hacer una nueva Valkyrie, respeten el concepto de esta moto. y no la cambien por una moto futurista.

Comments

I would like to see an 1800 fuel injected model and like to see the tourer and interstate models brought back. Currently have a 98 tourer, I enjoy it very much.

Comments

Add: 1. Readable gauges...lose that awful luminous-on-white motif. 2. Aluminum frame. 3. 1800 (or 2k) cc. 4. EFI Keep: 1. Overall appearance 2. All geometry.

Comments

I'd like to see the following improvements to the Valkyrie model: Fuel gauge improved lighting on gauges, fuel injection, 1800cc or larger engine size, touring style floor boards (driver & passenger), better stock tires, more chrome accessories...did I mention more chrome?

Comments

1800+cc fuel injected, maybe a 6th gear. other than that it's perfect

Comments

I love my 1999 Interstate. I've put 25000 miles in two years and 17,000 non-problem miles since this past April. I'm always getting people who stop and look and say "Nice bike!!!". Even today in the cold of the beginning of winter. I'm very pleased with the Valkyrie and I think that almost anyone who would give it a try would like it. It looks intimidating but is actually a joy to ride. I hope Honda continues the line. For a new Valkyrie, I hope that Honda keeps the style of the current Valkyrie but with maybe a new larger engine.

Comments

I would like to see a slightly more aggressive design, perhaps even a more radical engine with a lot more ..... Larger tank, forward controls.!! Self canceling turn signals, and a brighter tail light.. I know I am going to be shot for this, but every so often a reverse gear would be nice... Hoss

Comments

1800cc engine F.I. ABS/Linked

Comments

Love it! Wouldn't want any other bike!!

Comments

I sold a 1500 Gold Wing and bought a 97 Valk Standard. This bike is AWESOME! I have never owned or ridden a bike like the Valk. Please don't stop production on the bike.

Comments

Yes! 1800FI with updated styling.

Comments

I now have an I/S. Love it. Had 97 Std before, loved it. Started on a S90, loved it. Also had 160,305,450 & 750 Hondas

Comments

I have only owned one Honda (Valkyrie) If the Valkyrie had been built back in 1966 I would have bought one and probably still be driving it. The Valk is by far the best Motorcycle on the planet and I am amazed that instead of promoting it to sell more the rumor is that your going to discontinue the model. This idea is total stupidity, you have the best of the best and no one will dispute it but the thought of Honda not continuing this marvel of engineering is not a sensible business strategy. Make more Valkyries and promote more Valkyrie after market products like Harley Davidson does. Look at the market share and the cost of their stock proves to me they are doing some thing right, they just cant make a motorcycle worth a damn. Well that's my .02c. I don't know if you guys will heed this advice but in my opinion it will be a bigger error than attacking Pear Harbor. Nick Reynolds... Botman VRCC # 11099

Comments

Big, long, wide, with the same style as now. Add easier serviceability, low fuel light or gauge, better quality chrome, a real horn, at least an 1800cc engine, the option of fuel injection, 150 HP minimum, the option of a smooth mellow easy roll on power ride like now or neck snapping launch pad torque, easier to clean, add colors instead of taking them away, bigger tires, chrome rims, better suspension front and rear, better instrument lighting, that's enough for now. I bought a Valk because I think it's the nicest cruiser available at any price. If a nicer one came out, I'd have to buy it. Till then, I be happy with what I have now. Please tell us publicly, how many Valks were made each year and the amount of each color and model, so we know how rare a certain bike is. Oh yah, and pack and ship your accessories better. The new, higher quality chrome and welds will need to be protected in shipping. Thanks for reading.

Comments

I live my current 2000 Valkyrie Interstate. Keep making parts and accessories well into the future. This is one of the reasons people stay loyal to Harley and have a problem with Honda.

Comments

New Valkyrie- 1800 or 2000cc engine, fuel injection,6 speed transmission, linked brakes, aluminum frame, single sided swingarm, polished/chrome wheels, at least two body styles like VTX and VTX retro.

Comments

Minimum of 2000cc, Sequential Fuel Injection, 6-spd transmission, roller cams, Hi-flow headered exhaust with a cross over pipe, keep the FAT rubber front/rear, Std./Tour/InterState models, aluminum frame, more fuel capacity than the I/S model, optional center stand, optional final drive ratio, forward controls, polished/powder coated wheels, a REAL horn, nestle the radiator between the frame down tubes, keep those inverted forks, keep that clean, basic cruiser styling, BLACK/CHROME forever !!

Comments

I'd buy a new Valkyrie with a 1800cc FI motor and a 6 speed transmission. I like the fact that the current Valkyrie is a very good all around bike for long distance touring or just cruising around town. I'd certainly like to see the same characteristics for the next generation Valkyrie with an improve mileage range. I also own a 99 CBR1100xx.

Comments

The Valkyrie Interstate is the best handling, best looking bike I have ever seen and ridden. This masterpiece should have been promoted, promoted and then promoted again. On the other hand, I own a piece of motorcycling elegance - why share it?!

Comments

Ride '97 Valkyrie Tourer----just love it! Would love to see an 1800 cc model!

Comments

I ride a 1999 Valkyrie Interstate with 74,000 miles. ( it is my second, had 50,000 on the first when I traded) I intend to ride it into the ground, at least two more years. I would buy another Valkyrie to replace the one I currently ride if a new one is to be bought in 2003 or 2004. I think Honda has built a great motorcycle called Valkyrie.

Comments

I LIKE THE VALK JUST THE WAY SHE IS. CHANGES MIGHT BE CHROME PLATING THAT WOULD LAST FOR MORE THAN FOUR YEARS BEFORE THE RUST PEAKS THROUGH UNTIL YOU SEE BARE METAL AND NICKEL. AT LEAST THE SAME DISPLACEMENT AS THE G. W. WOULD BE NICE, IF NOT MORE.

Comments

Love my '97 standard and would replace it tomorrow if I lost it today. Ideally I'd own a custom standard AND an Interstate. Keep the Valk as your flagship model so that it always sets AND holds the advantage in the performance and handling characteristics of big cruisers. Keep those aftermarket accessories developed and available so the customers can create the bike of their dreams. And finally, listen to the voices of the VRCC membership.

Comments

WOULD LIKE TO SEE A REAL HOT ROD 2000CC POWERED ENGINE AND LOW CUSTOM LOOK SO THAT ANYBODY LOOKING AUTOMATICALLY KNOWS YOUR ON A VALK HONDA

Comments

Do not make any new model into a GW! Keep it lean and mean. 1800 fi would be cool. Gas gauge also. Thanks

Comments

I love my Valk Interstate. More pull back on handle bars

Comments

RE: the current Valkyrie--The bike has plenty of power, handles well at all speeds, is very attractive, BUT There are QA glitches; the starter switch and its wiring, okay, that's my only gripe. RE: The next generation Valk--Add an overdrive (sixth) gear. '99 Tourer

Comments

Love the current Valk. I don't think that the bigger motor is really needed, 1500 is plenty strong. Had an Interstate Valk, just bought a standard. Always liked the brute look of the Valk, but the Interstate loses a lot of the brute look. Like the looks of the VTX, but it doesn't ride like the Valk. Keep the 1500 motor and the Valk. It's a Boss Machine, with no match anywhere!!!!!!!!

Comments

1800fi, more visible lights on back. Another gear for lower rpm highway cruising. Lower the bike. Advertise it more, a lot of people don't even know about the bike!

Comments

I love my Valk and I cannot imagine to ride any other bike. She's unique, very smooth and powerful. In my opinion it's a class on its own. The Valk gives me almost everything I want. I like riding hard and fast on twisty roads and I can keep up with all my friends on their 'normal' street bike (like Suzuki Bandits, Honda X11 and Hornets). On the other hand, the comfort on long rides is great. I hope the F6C Valkyrie will never die. Some things I wish for a new Valk: More power, I think 150 hp should be enough (I'm a power freak) More torque ABS and CBS brakes (the braking system of the new GoldWing) a catalytic converter aluminum frame enough lean angle that allows me to hunt some crotch rockets (don't make her a boulevard cruiser like this new Harley V-Rod, we don't have so much long straight roads here in Europe) fuel injection and electronic motor management for a better mpg less weight for improved performance and better mpg. Anyway, if there will be a new Valk, please make her the same bike, the 'old' Valk already is: a unique and outstanding bike, that has no real competitors I think, then I'll be one of the first Europeans to get one.

Comments

The Valkyrie is absolutely the best bike I've ever owned, ridden or seen. It has smoothness, power, sleek looks, reliability. I would not hesitate to go cross-country and back, and I've put 20,000 miles on my Valkyrie in two riding seasons (18 months since I bought it). I would like to see the Valkyrie come out with 1,800 c.c. fuel injected engine and a six-speed transmission. If Honda does this, I will buy a new Valkyrie. Otherwise I'll buy a used Valkyrie with low mileage to replace my current 1998 Valkyrie.

Comments

To be able to bye accessories for a 2001 Interstate without having to wait because they are on back order!!!

Comments

Comments

Keep the Valkyrie alive at any cost. I have ridden HD's, Kawasaki's, Yamaha's, a Honda CBR 1100xx (wildest ride I ever had), and the Valkyrie. I have never ridden a motorcycle like the Valkyrie. I have never seen a better looking motorcycle, and I have never enjoyed the experience since I bought my Interstate in 2000. The VRCC is a large part of the enjoyment, but Bill Gloditch Honda is (next to Hal) a place to go when you need something for the beast. The Valkyrie was the cruiser of the last decade, and will certainly become the cruiser of the next millennium. In my humble opinion.

I would like to see Honda put a super 1800 cc flat six in the new Valkyrie, one more gear so the rpm's are not so high when crusin' on the interstate system, and I would like to see the Interstate brought back, even though I think I will buy a standard next time, so I can have an Interstate and a standard. I will not trade my Interstate in at any cost.

TO HONDA MARKETING, HAVE A 2000 STANDARD RED/BLACK CHROMED OUT ALSO A 2001 VTX BLUE WILL BE TRADING FOR A NEW RETRO VTX 1800 SHORTLY, I BELIEVE TO DATE THE VALKY IS THE MOST IMPRESSIVE BIG CRUISERS MADE IT DOES EVERYTHING WELL, NEEDS TO COME WITH FLOORBOARDS STANDARD, SELF CANCELING TURN SIGNALS, BRIGHTER INSTRUMENT LIGHTS, POWER UP GRADE? FOR MOST NO FOR ME YES!!!1800 T0 2000 EFI WOULD BE JUST THE UPGRADE NEED TO INCREASE BUYER MARKET. FIT&FINISH NEED TO BE BETTER WITH A UPGRADE IN SOME REAL EYE CATCHING COLORS. TO MARKET THIS BIKE THE PRICE WILL HAVE TO REMAIN APROX THE SAME. I HAVE RIDDEN A H/D V-ROD THIS IS THE MOST IMPRESSIVE BIKE H/D HAS EVER MARKETED FOR THE CRUISER RIDER, IT IS IMPRESSIVE IN ALL AREAS OF PERFORMANCE, HANDLING, STYLING H/D RIDERS WILL EITHER LOVE IT OR HATE IT BUT WILL BE IMPRESSED BY IT. I BUY ALL MY RIDES FROM MAX PITTS PERU, IN A GREAT HONDA DEALERSHIP. THANKS KA SALLEE.

I am currently riding a 99 Valkyrie Interstate and love it. I recently sold my 99 Yamaha Road Star , with 300 miles on it I had to get back to the smoooothness of the Honda. I had a 98 Valkyrie Tourer but I think I like the Interstate better. I was hoping the 2002 Valkyrie would have been the 1800 C.C. with EFI. When it is available I will own one. The folks at Honda have never disappointed me yet.

Comments

The Valkyrie is still in a class all its own. Self canceling turn signals and a fuel gauge would be nice additions. A new (bigger & badder) flat six would be great.

Comments

I've owned nothing but Honda bikes in all these years but it seems unlikely to be my next purchase unless a new improved Valkyrie Interstate is introduced in the future. Sorry Honda the Goldwing is just not for me and I don't care for two cylinder bikes so I guess your presently out of the running for any future consideration.

Comments

More cc, to keep Valkyrie on top. Reverse gear, a louder more powerful sound to match the masive bike, more comfortable seat, larger foot pegs for the driver.

Comments

I'd like to see a new Valkyrie InterState with at least an 1800 cc engine with the abs breaks, centerstand, better stereo system, onboard GPS, bigger baggage, adjustable rear passenger foot boards, more enclosed air/wind protection, cruise control and a built in cooler for a 6-pack. That's all .............

the current Valk is great. observations: I have a Tourer and would like a gas gauge. I would like 4-way flashers for safety. I would like, obviously, the largest 6cyl you would be able to make. I would like V-Tec style valves/timing, I would like Fuel Injection. I would like more options to add/delete than what Honda offered during the std/tour/int days. I would like a quieter tranny. I would like different wheel choices ( brushed/polished, baked enamel, etc).. What I love about the current 97 Tourer: I love that silky smooth motor. I love the reliability. I love the LOOK! I love the way it starts conversations wherever I go. I love the uniqueness of it. I love the camaraderie we have gotten from the VRCC and the VOAi clubs as each owner/enthusiast is a little different... Thanks Big Red for making the Valk!. I am a convert from a 96 Aspencade, and never looked back! Mosa

'99 Tourer I think a sixth gear, better gauge lighting/or back lighting and a larger fuel tank would make a perfect bike better. I just can't remember there is only five gears, keep trying for sixth:) In the twilight of dawn and dusk gauges are impossible to read. One more ticket and I'm done for awhile:( Once on my Valk stopping for anything is aggravating, 10 gal. would do:) The worst thing I've had to deal with so far is the dealers. No support! poor parts quality and long waits, not to mention prices! Despite these things I will NEVER ride anything other than a Valkyrie...ever again.

Comments

I really do not have any complaints about my Valk. If you were to design a new Valk I would suggest: 1. Larger fuel tank 2. Centerstand 3. Self canceling turn signals 4. 1800 cc engine 5. Different type of wheels (something that will polish better) 6. New paint designs

Comments

I love my '98 Valkyrie. For my physical size and the kind of riding I do, I can't think of a bike that would surpass the Valk. It is big enough for me and my wife to ride in comfort. It has plenty of power. The styling is great. And best of all, it has Honda quality and reliability. Are there things I would like to see changed on an all-new Valk? Yes. Keep the same basic power-cruiser concept and keep the large physical size. Those are the biggest selling points, in my opinion. And keep the bike free of Gold Wing type doo-dads. If we want those, we can add them or buy a Wing. Here are the improvements I would like to see, in order of priority: 1) 6-speed transmission for lower RPMs at cruising speeed. 2) Reverse gear for getting out of tight spots. 3) Increased weight capacity. My wife and I with some luggage overload the published weight allowance, and we are not that big. 4) Fuel injection. 5) Accurate fuel gauge on all models. 6) Wire wheels, at least as a factory option.

I have a 1998 Tourer which replaced a 1993 Aspencade. This is the best bike I ever owned for fun, handling and looks. I would very much like to own the next generation Tourer when you decide to make it. Until then I will stick with my Tourer.

Comments

New Valkyrie should be at least 1800 cc or more,6speed, reverse, blinker shut off, cruise control, loud horn, helmet lock, center stand, tuneable exhaust system. all for under $15000.00 Thanks!!!

Comments

I bought the Valkyrie as my first bike, ever. I absolutely love it! It is definitely everything everyone on this board says that it is... great power, superb handling, wonderful comfort (especially for long distance riding), and, the great Honda reliability that I've come to expect. Now, as much as I love the bike the way it is... I'd definitely be interested in a new one with an even bigger engine (1800 cc or bigger...) and fuel injection. And, whatever else could be designed. I really like the prototypes that Honda introduced... any one of them could be very interesting to ride! Honda, please keep the Valkyrie around... it's one of the greatest bikes ever made- and it would be great to see it live on for a long time!

Comments

Lighter weight. Larger tank or greater fuel economy, composite tank in the frame is cool. 200 series tire in the rear, standard, just for looks. Chromalusion paint, like the Goldwings and VTX. Fuel Injection with or without the 1800 GW engine. 6th gear would be nice. Better looking exhaust tips. Easier air cleaner changing if possible. Maybe put the air cleaner into an enclosure on top of the transmission to close the hole there, behind the carbs? Fuel gauge along with a full compliment of digital gauges. Better integration of the radiator.

When I was ready to buy another Street Bike... I immediately searched to see what Honda had to offer. As soon as I saw the Valkyrie Interstate, I knew it was the Bike for me.. I bought it in February 2000, and now have over 28,000 miles on it.. I made the Right choice. My Blue and Silver Valkyrie Interstate, is the best Bike in the world to me. The only way I would ever get another Valkyrie, is if it were with the Bigger Fuel Injected Motor... > But leave the Chrome!!! I need my Chrome < Reverse would be a good option. I like the, Self canceling Signal lights idea. and I think the, More Options to build a Valkyrie Standard into an Interstate, is another real good idea..

Comments

I own a '99 Valkyrie Interstate. My wife rides everywhere with me. It is the best bike we've ever had. Suggested improvements: 1. Emergency Flashers; 2. Cover for chrome gas tank lid, which reflects badly in the windscreen; 3. Some change in windscreen that would deflect rain from going into the rider's face when it comes through the air scoop; 4. Padded covers for passenger, speaker-arm rests when no speakers are purchased; 5. Center stand. The entire design of the Valkyrie Interstate is absolutely great. I do not intend to buy another motorcycle ... with the only possible exception being a new Valkyrie Interstate with the improvements listed above along with a fuel-injected 2000 CC engine.

1. Let's continue with Valkyries.\ 2. Let's take the Gold Wing engine, soup it up to about 130 HP and put it in a cruiser. BUT... make sure you add the following: - A 7 gallon tank. Having to stop every 100 miles is a pain. - Add a fuel gauge. It's a no brainer!!!! On a 5,000 mile trip last month, my speedometer cable broke. What a pain trying to figure out when to stop for gas. - Heated grips. They don't cost that much to put on and charge $200. - Optional features could include: A center stand. Would be easier to change oil, clean those aluminum rims, general cleaning etc. Add some bolt to hook bungee cords. That's it for me. I'd be one happy camper.

1998 Valk Tour, the best riding machine I have ever been on. Things I would like to see improved on the Valk. better lighted tach and speedometer, quieter trans. external helmet lock, centerstand, reverse, self canceling turnsignals,1800cc engine.

Comments

I have a few miles over 70,000 on my '97 standard Valkyrie. I hope I never have to ride another kind of bike!! I was very disappointed when you did not put the new engine set-up in the new Valkyrie. I was all set to buy it!!!

I FEEL THAT HONDA SHOULD FOLLOW THOUGH WITH THE VALKYRIE LINE, AND PURSUE FURTHER ADVERTISING OF THE VALKYRIE. HOW CAN YOU THROW OUT A BIKE THAT GOT CRUISER OF THE YEAR. THE GOLDWING DOES NOT ATTRACT THE SAME TYPE OF PEOPLE AS THE VALKYRIE DOES NOR DOES THE VTX. IF WE HAD WANTED A WANT-TO-BE WE WOULD HAVE BOUGHT A SHADOW OR SOME SIMILAR BIKE. PLEASE CONTINUE THE VALKYRIE WITH AN 1800 CC ENGINE WITH THE SAME TYPE OF TUNING AS THE PAST VALKYRIES HAVE HAD. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME, ROGER BARTENSTEIN, JR.

more power, ABS, 6. gear, self-regulating indicators and very s o o n. thanks, where can I order... Michael

I have found my Valkyrie Tourer to be an excellent all-around bike that gives good power, enough cargo capacity, comfort, looks. The cargo capacity makes a difference in allowing me to ride instead of drive to my work as a commuter. However, I would like to move up to an Interstate sometime for the extra capacity for longer distance touring, or just to travel with a little more comfort- however, I could get a trainler and combine it with my tourer and have the best of both worlds. The Standard, while good, is basically good for day rides with no cargo capacity- unless you fork over substantially more money for hard bags, windshield, etc. The Gold Wing- while nice performance wise- is just way too much plastic to deal with. I owned two Honda Pacific Coasts prior to my Valk and I will never go back to a bike with all this plastic again. The Interstate is perfect to me compared to the Gold Wing.

Comments

I think a new Valk based on the 1800 engine is necessary. There are still plenty of us that don't want a V twin and are not ready for a Goldwing. We want more performance. Since I ride a '99 Istate I would love an 1800 Istate with factory cruise and CD an option. Self canceling turn signals would be nice also.

Comments

I would like to see a 2000cc Valkyrie with self canceling turn signals, fuel gauge, and a lower or adjustable seat height. I like the current body style but something a little sleeker would be ok, just so long as it has lots of chrome and there's not a lot of plastic like the Gold Wing. I would like to see a standard model that could be customized to each individuals tastes. Build the bike, I'll buy it, but I'm still keeping my '97 Valkyrie.

Comments

I will keep my 2001 I/S for some time no matter what, but I hope Honda does build the 1800efi Valkyrie. I also would like to see standard equipment added such as reverse and cruise control, and an aluminum frame. If Honda builds this bike I'll be a customer for life, but if not I'll have to stick with my I/S or change brands - the Gold Wing is way too small for us bigger guys.

The 1800cc fuel injected engine

Comments

this is my first new Honda. it now has 52k PA. miles. it owes me at least 100k more. I would like more power.

Comments

This is THE premire MC out on road. Here's what I wantin the new Valk. 1- BIGGER FASTER QUICKER 1800 or 2000cc motor MAX chrome as it is now 2- Self canceling turn signals 3- Sixth gear. I want to be able to cruise at 85 @ 3000 rpm (better gas mileage on long tours) 4- Air Horns built in or Chrysler Minivan horn 5- tuneable exhaust louder if wanted 6- A REAL GAS GAUGE 7- two trip meters at least 8 easier connections to add electrical accessories Keith Ray 281-362-7350

1800 cc, FI, 6th gear (or spread the 5 out further). I love the bike.

Comments

I would like to see: 1800 FI engine Taller 5th gear or 6th gear for cruizing self canceling turn signals bigger fuel tank fuel gauge

Comments

Currently '97 touror, sometimes with bags and windshield, sometimes not. I like to be versatile and the Valkyrie allows me that. Best part of owning a Valk is being different from the the crowd, especially with power and looks. I know there will be a new Valkyrie, just hope it takes a progressive step forward as did new 2001 Wing, we don't need any more retro copy bikes. We want to stand on our own with style, power and versatility. On my new Valk I want the biggest most powerfull engine, cruise comfort, bright lights, gauges, GPS. Don't need climate control, stereo or CB,,,ie..Wing.

Comments

Valkyrie should continue in F6 configuration, EFI or Six carbs, supercharged option, Cruiser styling, 6 speed tranny, with no less that 1800 cc's. Would buy one immediately. Valkyrie is the best MC that Honda has ever offered, Don't want no V-Twin Wanne Be!

Comments

I've owned 3 Japanese V-Twins as well as 2 Harleys and by far, the Valkyrie is the best bike I've ever owned. It has unique looks which set it apart from the crowd "no wannabe here". It's quicker, handles better, rides smoother, and gets more attention than any other bike I've owned. I assumed I'd keep this bike until the wheels fall off, but if an 1800 model comes out, I might have to rethink my strategy.

Comments

The first thing I would like to see, is more power from the engine[30+hp].At least a alloy frame. Shaft drive is a must. A more customize look and at least some type of accessory plug-in [cigarette type]. So you can easily carry some equipment, radio's, power cords , for back-up etc. Solid colors would be great.

Comments

Honda needs better customer service support

Comments

I love my Valkyrie Interstate mainly for its different looks and power. I would like to see a F.I. 2000cc Valkyrie Tourer and Interstate. I like the new Gold Wing too, but I don't think I would sell my Valkyrie to buy a Gold Wing. However, I would sell my current Valkyrie to buy a more powerful and F.I. one as long that the look remains about the same. I love the massive engine look of the Valkyrie! Of course, I love its reliability too. Valker Va

Comments

I love the Valkyrie! I never owned a V-Twin and never will. I like the 6 cylinder and the awesome performance it provides.

Comments

1800cc Fi engine.... Re-style the trunk on the I/S and add decent arm rests or make as an easily added accessory for passenger arm rests.

Comments

Of all the bikes that I have owned ( Harleys Indians Cushman's Suzuki Kawasaki's , there has never been any thing close to my 99 Honda Valkyrie. I ride approximately 15000 miles a year and enjoy every mile of it... Norman Newberg Spokane WA.

Comments

I would like to see the 1800cc fuel injected engine in the new Valkyrie. A larger gas tank like the Interstate version. More color options. No matter what this is still the best motorcycle I have ever owned or ridden.

Comments

Self-canceling turn signals and fuel gauge, otherwise, you've done it right.

Comments

I like the Valk I have but If it were upgraded. I would like to see an air ride with more power and double overhead cams

Comments

Been away from bikes for a few years and had a hard time deciding on the right one to come back to. I made the right decision on buying a Valk. I hope that when I need to replace it someone will be making a big cruiser that's not just another V-twin copy.

Comments

Love the Valkyrie! Couldn't ask for a better bike stock!

Comments

I love my Valkyrie! Best bike on the road, in my opinion. Wouldn't mind if you guys jumped up the cc's a little, to say, 2000! Just to make sure it's STILL the most powerful cruiser out there. I would like a "new" Valk to still look like a Valkyrie though. The Flat 6 is special and gets lots of attention!

Comments

Minimum 1800cc motor Fuel injection Self canceling turn signals If they come out with a Interstate model I would like to see a CD player and a CB standard.

Comments

I would be interested in a Valkyrie 1800cc or larger with fuel injection. Larger fuel tank and fuel gage. Real instrument panel not dummy gages. The Valkyrie is the best motorcycle I have ever owned or riden.

Comments

Change the engine to a 2000 cc or bigger, add Fuel injection, add one more gear for an overdrive, add a fuel gauge, add a cruise control, more lights on the rear, dual headlights, running lights at both ends, small fairing, better passenger seat, removable rear box, led lights - brake and running, bring back the Tourer and the Interstate...... Thanks for listening......

Comments

I think the Valkyrie is one of Honda's greatest bikes ever built. There is a strong follows of this bike and I know that many of us would like to see the new 1800cc motor in our Valkyries. I would like to see a standard Valkyrie with options to buy part to take it all the way to an Interstate or anything in between. If you build it we will buy it.
