I have loved the versatility of my Valk ( #000325 ) since its purchase in 1997. The looks of a cruiser with the performance of a sport tourer. I love the neo-retro styling of the current bike but the new Valk may have to be a little more aggressive. The secret to revive Valk sales is simple , POWER , POWER , AND POWER. The Valk should be the permanent power cruiser and no twin should be competition. It doesn't matter what the cc's are it just needs to run low 11's be very pretty , and as comfortable to tour as the current bike. Build it and they will come.

Best bike I've owned. However, there is room for improvement. It needs a speedometer! Also, the smaller gas tank on the Standard should be eliminated in favor of the larger tank used on the Interstate. Many of the Standards, mine included, were purchased to allow more freedom to customize, but the small tank too limiting on long trips. In addition, the 1800cc engine also be a welcome bonus.

I have a 98 tourer and I love it the more I ride the more I love the bike. just what were you guys thinking when you stopped making the tourer? The only thing to work on is the heat in the summer in Louisiana the humidity and the heat from the Valk is a killer.

You have built the most awesome cruiser on the planet.........A new machine would have to have the 1800 f6 motor. It is the logical next step. The lines of the current beast shouldn't be messed with too much. Why mess with such beauty! If you kept the same lines( clean, sexy,BAD) you can count me in on buying a new one soon. Mine is 98 Tourer (green/black)...............Thank you Len Pantlin Jr.

I would like to see the Valkyrie remain a flat 6 with more performance and better handling. Keep the chrome on the motor, and it hanging out in the breeze. I would also like to see the Interstate & Tourer return. I like my Valkyrie Interstate as it is a touring power cruiser and not a V-twin clone.

have fast black 99 std, my friend rode it 10 miles and now he owns a 00 yellow/black std. we both love these bikes! I would love to see 1800 to 2000 cc. carbed engine, fuel gauge and self canceling turn signals, a larger fuel tank would be nice too. great bike! if Honda would get into the accessories and other items like Harley does it may make owners feel like they are more "in the family".

Valkyrie is the most complete cruiser period. everywhere we travel people are stunned by the appearance. own built in 96 yellow/black lots of chrome beautiful. would like to see Honda continue with the Valkyrie perhaps add fuel injection to the 1500 or do developed the largest engine only made for the true cruiser such as the reported 2000cc.

Great bike!

Lets have a new Valkyrie based on the 1800cc motor, frame, brakes, etc....

I rode Brit bikes and Hogs all my life, would trade ALL of 'em for a STOCK Valkyrie. I love my six-banger, wouldn't change a THING. There's lots of young upstarts in this survey who just want to change things for the sake of changing 'em, us old-timers know better. And I got no complaint about the lack of a center-stand on it....WHERE you gonna PUT one so it doesn't look like trash? (If it HAD one, it'd be the first thing they'd take OFF.) Nobody fixes flats on the roadside anyway, I have a floorjack like everybody else who actually knows how to hold a wrench, what's the big problem? I love my Valky, don't listen to the greenhorns! Thanks.

Keep the unique styling, flat 6 1800 or more. Have an Interstate model. Same riding position. Adjustable rear suspension like the new wing. More color options and combinations.

I would like to see a fuel gauge come as a standard option, and also as an affordable add on. It would be fine even if it was a tank mounted gauge tastefully chromed that is. Factory bags sold as a unit at a discount as opposed to $2500 for piece by piece price.

I love the current Valkyrie. I've got a '99 Red/Black Interstate and can only think of one way I'd rather spend my time than riding it. I've seen the Valkyrie concept bikes in the magazines. They look really awesome. I'd like to see some in an Interstate fashion w/ bags and trunk and fairing. I'm interested to see what that would turn out like.

Best bike ever made! (I'm getting "VALKYRIE" tattooed across my chest!) The ONLY thing I'd like to see changed is: up the engine size to a V8 with at LEAST 3500cc, turbo-charged of course, make the gas tank 20 gallons (for us guys who RIDE), CHROME every piece of the machine or cover it with ribbed chrome panels to give it that 'Toaster Oven' styling that we all crave, lower the rear end, lengthen the front end, change both wheel diameters, make the trans a seven speed (for us guys who RIDE), cover the seat with chrome studs, I'm sure you'll see from the following guys that we're all in agreement on this stuff. Otherwise, it's a GREAT bike, don't mess with it!

The Valkyrie is the best motorcycle that you have ever made. Would like to see you start making the Tourer model again. Also would like to see a fuel injected model with 2000cc. You make the best motorcycle in the world.

quick disconnect for radio antenna instead of screw on, cruise control, passenger arm rests Don't change anything, it's the best bike by far that I have ever ridden

Valkyrie is overall the best bike I have owned or ridden. Handling, comfort, and power are very good. Will buy a new one if items below are improved otherwise will drive this one forever. New Valkyries: Engine size matching/exceeding Goldwing 6th gear Less transmission whine better passenger seat Good Job Honda!

I love the Valk.[98 Tour] I was looking to Harley before I came across this bike it is very unique, and is also one of the finest examples of Honda quality on the rode today. I love to travel and my only wish would be a larger fuel tank. It already has all the power I can stand. Please keep the Valkyrie alive you have a lot of loyal riders out here.

I was zeroing in on the Valkyrie as a replacement of my Aspencade. I am however very disappointed at how Honda has been cutting the Valkyrie product line. I was willing to live with the Tourer being cut as that can always be built through after market products. But when Honda cut the Interstate I was really disappointed. I've toured the country and every where I go when a Valkyrie rolls by, heads have turned to see just what it was. The Valkyrie is unique. It is the one cruiser out there that the Harley riders accept, because it is not a Harley clone. It's too bad that the bean counters control the market. The Valkyrie is also a classic. The Interstate was in my sights as the switch from a dressed Wing to a dressed Valkyrie wasn't too drastic. What I really like about the Valkyrie is there is less plastic. When you look at the motorcycle you see just that, a motorcycle. I also like that when motorcycle needs service, you're not spending half the time taking parts off just to get to where you need to perform the service, and then spend more time slapping the parts and plastic back on. Now I haven't ridden a Valkyrie too far, but knowing how smooth the Wing rides, and also knowing that the Valkyrie takes the same smooth F-6 engine as its backbone, it's not rocket science to figure that long days in the saddle on a Valkyrie will be as comfortable as the long days I log on my Wing. I know the new Wing is more powerful than the Valkyrie, but it's not just cc's that sell a bike, design figures into the formula too. I really am looking for a motorcycle that looks like a motorcycle. Something where you can see the engine. Something that allows customization. Something that says I can stand on my own, I don't need to be another look a like! That's what a Valkyrie is! And it's too bad that the bean counters can't see this through their green visors and sleeve protectors.

NEED BETTER REAR SHOCKS, MORE POWER LIKE 130 HP LESS WIND BUFFETING BEHIND THE WINDSHIELD. WOULD ALSO LIKE TO SEE A DOUBLE STAND. BECAUSE IF YOU GET A FLAT YOU ARE S.O.L. TO FIX OR REMOVE THE WHEEL. I REALLY LOVE MY 98 TOUR THERE IS NOTHING LIKE IT AND THAT IS GREAT.

I think you have the perfect Bike... More Power is always nice, But... Styling is always key!!!! Don't discontinue the Interstate. or the tourer. I have ridden Mostly everything on 2 wheels.. But I always come back to the best!!!!!! Honda!!!!!!!!!

Comments

I ride a 98 tourer and love it, but would like to see a bigger gas tank, fuel injection, better heat management perhaps ducting under tank and exiting behind motor (rear tire area), this should be easier with fuel injection. I've had six Hondas from the QA-50 to the Valkyrie. Make some of these improvements and #7 is for sure.

Comments

At least an 1800cc engine. Keep the unique 'Classic' Look.

Comments

I love my Valk, but if you guys would come up with something with a bigger motor, more modern frame and fuel injection, I would sure buy one. I brought mine with me to Okinawa and plan on selling it before I come back in 15 months. I will be buying a new bike, and it will be the fastest cruiser that is comfortable for me and a passenger and doesn't look like a Harley knock off. I hope it is a bigger Valk.

Comments

Better fuel economy, fuel injection, higher horsepower but without a larger displacement engine. keep the flat six but add your famous VTEC car technology the smaller, higher horsepower, higher technology engine hopefully would reduce the weight to ~ 600 lbs. Overall my 99 I/S is performing well. Keep up the good work.

V8 ENGINE, MUCH BETTER SUSPENSION

Comments

I ride a '99 Valk Interstate. Would like to see factory cruise control and a truly day-long riding saddle. Moving the driver pegs down and forward would sure help riders with big feet get more comfortable (Size 14). DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE!!

Comments

Best machine to date but needs self canceling turn signals and center stand.
